Thirteen inches by ten. Fits a letter-size pad, a laptop up to thirteen inches, and a set of drawing pencils if that is the kind of work you carry. The number three is not a series indicator; it is the third version I kept making because the first two were wrong.

The closure

A single leather strap that pulls through a brass turn. No zip. Zips fail within five years, and this portfolio is meant to last longer than a zip.

Inside

A full-length inside pocket, a pen loop, a sleeve for a notebook up to A5. Hermann Oak lining, skived thin, which means the portfolio softens into your hand without getting floppy.

Beautiful piece. My only pause is that the strap closure takes a moment to get used to coming from a zip — after a month it is faster than a zip ever was, but the first week it felt like extra work.
